Our granddaughter, Madi, has been staying with us while our Kate is recovering from recent surgery and her Dad is in finals week. She's such a little sunshine in our lives, so sweet and happy (most of the time ;)). It's been fun to have one-on-one time with her while Ella is at school. We've read Five Little Monkeys over and over, played "you be Madi and I be Grandma," bought pink gum at the store, gone on walks, and colored. She loves to sing to me. I'll miss the little stinker when she goes home.
