It's nice to be back to blogging. Thanks to all of you for your "encouragement" to keep going--translated to: "You haven't posted in forever, what's the deal?"
The first of the year is always a great time to ponder what needs to stay and what needs to go in my life. I took some time to do that. I tend to way over think everything (really?), so it took some time. :)
I've learned over the years that making resolutions just because it's January 1st is pretty worthless. I do however choose some simple and fun things I really want to do (not have to or should do) throughout the year. It pretty much guarantees success. :) This year I want to:
- grow my photography skills (practice, practice, practice)
- grow my Photoshop Elements skills
- try some new recipes (and hopefully find a few family favorites to add to our list)
- read some good books for enjoyment on my new Kindle (very excited, any suggestions?)
Looking forward to a delightful year.
FINALLY!!!!!! What the heck? I almost unbookmarked you. Don't do that again!
ReplyDeleteI saw that same chocolate sign yesterday while driving. I laughed at it too. Steve and I decided on that our resolutions this year would be to gain 5-10 pounds.
My school is doing the biggest loser so I have had my five servings of fruits/veggies everyday for 12 days. (Also no carbonation or caffeine either.) Post any good recipes that you find.
