I am in awe of the fall colors in Utah this year. I don't know if it's because we had more than normal moisture this summer or what. But I drive around and just take it all in.
This row of trees lines the road at the end of the main street that runs through our hometown. I love anticipating seeing the colors as I drive down the road. These trees are all the same variety and yet each one is a totally different color. It's very cool.
This is the city park. I walk down the trail along the creek and through this park as often as I can. It's amazing.
I'm very grateful we live in such a beautiful area and neighborhood.
I'm leaving for St. George tomorrow morning. Lynn is staying home to watch Ella. I'm so grateful he's so supportive of my little getaways. Thanks, hon! I'll miss you. Ella told me last night, that since Dad is in charge, he'll let her eat all the treats she wants. There may actually be some truth to that.
Ella had a play date yesterday with one of her favorite friends, Ashlyn. Her Momma called me first thing this morning and said Ashlyn woke up with a very sore throat and then developed a fever. Then she went back to sleep. Sounds like strep to me. If the 24 hours before the symptoms come on are when you're most contagious...So do I tell Lynn before or after I leave? :)
I'm off to pack. I made a list last night so hopefully I won't forget anything.
I love seeing pictures of home. Beautiful. . .
ReplyDeleteLovely photos! Hasn't this been a spectacular fall?! I've loved it too. And the lightly falling snow . . . so nice.
